Shahadah (Declaration of faith)

Shahada is a Muslim testimony of faith in the oneness of God and the recognition of Muhammad as his Prophet. "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger." This is the basic statement of the Islamic faith: anyone who can recite this wholeheartedly is a Muslim.
